From our Studio Orchestra teacher, Mr. Toby Harwell:

Studio Orchestra is a year-long seminar that meets Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 3-4pm, and may count for up to 10 UC Fine Arts/Elective credits toward graduation. The driving goals of this ensemble are to celebrate life and diversity in a safe and creative space, and to facilitate artistic expression through the vehicle of music performance in the classical, jazz, and popular idioms. Through distance learning, students will also be immersed in the world and language of modern digital music production. A minimum of 2 years experience with a wind, brass, percussion, or string instrument, and/or vocal ensemble is required. Additionally, sight-reading and regular home-practice time will be expected.  Instruments will also be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Yearbook Pick-Up: August 31st

Hello!

We just wanted to let you know that the 2019-20 Da Vinci Design Yearbooks are available to be picked up on Monday, August 31st, from 9 AM – 12 noon.  Please plan on stopping by the school sometime during that time to pick up your yearbook.

If you DID purchase a yearbook (and did not pick it up already), it is helpful if you also bring your receipt (email photos are fine, or a paper receipt if you paid cash) with you.

If you did NOT already purchase a yearbook, there are still some yearbooks left to be purchased on a first come, first served basis.  The yearbooks cost $65, and we will only be accepting exact cash payments.
If you absolutely can NOT make it to the pick-up day on August 31st between 9 and noon, please email me and we can work on an another alternative.  Access to the campus is very restricted right now, which is making this whole process more difficult.  However, we are determined to make sure you’re able to get your copy of last school year’s yearbook.
Thank you, and if you have any other questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact me.
