Lockdown Drill Thursday

Da Vinci Design and Da Vinci Communications have a lockdown drill scheduled for this Thursday morning at 10 am. We are coordinating the drill with the local sheriff’s office, who reviewed our emergency procedures and helped us refine our practices. During the drill, the officers will use a cap-gun to simulate the sound of a real gun and other tactics to simulate a real situation. Students will be told ahead of time that this is a drill, and we will debrief afterwards with police to review what went well and what we can improve. Please feel free (even encouraged) to discuss the drill with your students before and after we have the drill.
