This week we celebrated the diversity on our campus with our Multi-Cultural Exhibition Fair hosted by the Diversity Council in partnership with BSU leaders, LatinX leaders and Pride Club leaders. Thank you to our students and staff who brought items to display that represent their culture. Great way to end the year! We are better together for sure!

Da Vinci Schools is seeking a talented professional to fill an open Board of Trustees seat that is soon to be vacant. Only applicants who reside within the boundaries of the Wiseburn Unified School District are eligible to apply. >> See District Boundaries
Candidates should have the time, commitment, strategic leadership capabilities, and business acumen to contribute to the work of the Board and Da Vinci Schools.
The Da Vinci Schools Board of Trustees is comprised of seven distinguished leaders who share the governance and fiduciary responsibility for Da Vinci Schools. Board Trustees serve on a volunteer basis and are required to:
* Complete the entire 3-year term.
* Commit to at least one Board meeting per month, three joint Board meetings per year, and one Retreat per year.
* Participate in Board subcommittee work as needed.
* Read reports and other memorandum outside of these meetings in order to serve the Vision and Mission.
Da Vinci Board Members and Wiseburn Board Members will screen all applications. The Panel’s recommendation of the best match will be forwarded to both full Boards for ratification.

DVX partners with El Camino College, UCLA Extension and Southern New Hampshire University to bring a supportive and unique college experience that includes career building and exploration as well life skills development, including financial literacy along with earning their college credits and college degrees — an A.A. or Bachelor’s degree all for free.

RIOS Design Firm is hosting a job shadow day on Friday, April 15th from 1 to 4 pm at their office in Downtown Los Angeles. Four lucky students will be able to meet the RIOS staff and spend time at their company.

In honor of Women’s History Month Dignity Health Sports Park’s ASCSC Community Foundation, LA Galaxy Foundation, Los Angeles Lakers Youth Foundation and LA Kings Foundation are partnering with AT&T and Becca’s Closet to host a one-day free prom dress giveaway!
The first 50 young ladies will receive four tickets to LA Galaxy’s match against Nashville SC at Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday, April 23rd.
This event will give young ladies the opportunity to look through hundreds of donated selections to find their perfect prom dress for free regardless of their socioeconomic status.
Volunteers will assist those in attendance with finding the perfect fit for their personality, frame and style. Once they select their free dress, they each will have the opportunity to do a photoshoot in a mirrored photo booth.
All students in attendance that are claiming a dress must have their student ID and sign a photo release waiver at check-in. Please RSVP if you plan on attending.
