Announcements From Real World Learning Director (7.12.2023)

Google’s High School Computer Science Education Program

Google’s Code Next is a free, computer science education program works with high schoolers to cultivate the next generation of Black, Latinx, and Native tech leaders. These courses are taught by Google employees. Clubs happen for approximately three months each—during the fall, winter, and spring—and are open to 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. However, they target mostly 9th and 10th graders. If you are accepted, you get access to one full year in the program, where you will take part in three different clubs during the fall, winter, and spring semesters. Following that, you will have access to all of Code Next’s online resources, and be named an official Code Next alumnus. Code Next Connect is 100% online and is free for all participants. Check out the FAQ page here.
