Announcements From Real World Learning Director (3.27.2023)

For students interested in a paid summer arts fellowship:

The Institute of Contemporary Art Los Angeles (ICALA) is offering local youth the opportunity to gain exposure to the creative arts sector through mentorship and hands-on experiences. The first mandatory in-person commitment for the program is April 5, 6, and 7. The program requires a commitment of 7 months from April to October 22 and students must provide their own transportation. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, March 28.

Youth & Young Adult Job Fair on 3/29:

The South Bay Workforce Investment Board is hosting its 23rd Annual Youth and Young Adult Job Fair on April 19, 2023, from 9am to 1pm at El Camino College. This event is open to participants over the age of 16. Transportation will be provided to and from the event via a bus that will be leaving from the 201 N. Douglas campus at 8:00am. Please note that spots are limited and not guaranteed. The deadline to RSVP is Wednesday, March 29 at 3pm. Those that are selected will receive an email with further instructions from Crissel Rodriguez, the Director of Real-World Learning.
