Week 34 is Here, DVD!

Welcome to Week 34, Design Families! And we are still celebrating all that was Week 33!

As we wrap up another incredible week at Da Vinci Design, we want to send a huge thank you to everyone who helped make Teacher Appreciation Week so memorable for our staff and community. From thoughtful gestures to moments of celebration throughout the week, we truly appreciate all of the support and kindness shown to our educators. It was also a special week celebrating our seniors during Decision Day and creating meaningful learning experiences through field trips like our Spanish 3 visit to Olvera Street. Below are some highlights from the week as we continue celebrating the experiences, connections, and memories being made across the DVD community!

Senior Decision Day 2026

This past week, our seniors celebrated Decision Day 2026 in the Black Box. The event was an exciting opportunity for students to proudly share and celebrate their plans for life after high school alongside classmates and staff. Whether students are heading to a four-year university, community college, trade program, military service, or directly into career pathways, we are incredibly proud of the Class of 2026 and all they have accomplished.

The energy in the room reflected the strong sense of community that makes DVD special. Congratulations to our seniors as they continue preparing for graduation and the exciting journeys ahead!

Spanish 3 Visits Olvera Street

Our Spanish 3 students recently had the opportunity to visit Olvera Street as part of their learning experience. Students explored the rich culture, history, food, music, and traditions connected to one of Los Angeles’ most historic locations. Experiences like this help bring classroom learning to life and allow students to connect language and culture in authentic and meaningful ways.
