Warner Bros. Entertainment Reach Honorships

Since 2005, Warner Bros. Entertainment has awarded internship- scholarship packages, known as Honorships, to graduating high school seniors passionate about the business of entertainment. There are up to five new Honorships awarded each year

They are looking for outstanding students who are passionate about the business of entertainment or animationand are excited for the chance to work for the global leader in content creation, production, distribution, licensing and marketing of all forms of entertainment.

Paid Summer Internships

Students,

Are you interested in gaining job experience while also getting paid? Bixel Exchange is working with the City of Los Angeles and tech companies like Snap Inc., NBCUniversal, Fox Sports West, Boingo Wireless and others to offer summer internships to students. These are PAID internships at major tech companies, targeted to Angelenos over 16 years of age.

Students must apply before April 1, 2019.

Scholarship Opportunity

The Recovery Village is dedicated to maintaining exceptional service at their drug and alcohol rehab facilities while providing unique opportunities for education and personal development. As part of this commitment, The Recovery Village is offering a $1,000 scholarship to students pursuing a medical-related course of study.

A $1,000 award will be given to a student pursuing a health-related degree program. Areas of study that will be considered include, but are not limited to, counseling, social work, emergency medicine, pre-med, nursing, psychology (with a focus on addiction counseling or a substance-abuse related field).

The South Bay Business Women’s Association is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide an effective education and mutual support for working women. The SBBWA offers financial help to women through its scholarship program in addition to providing support, encouragement and inspiration through the association’s activities.

Their goal is to offer seven (7) $2,000 scholarship awards in 2019 based on sponsorship support. If you are interested in applying for this scholarship and want more information, the website is posted below.
