DVX Family Information Nights; Interest Form & Online Application Now Live
Hello Da Vinci Students and Families,
We want to share some good news happening over at DVX, Da Vinci’s college and career program.
We are hosting Family Information Nights for seniors and their families on February 21st and February 28th at 6:00 PM at the high school campus, located at 201 N. Douglas Street. Please join the DVX staff and some current students for an informational presentation, followed by a Q&A session. We will be meeting in the Multi-Purpose Room. We hope you can join us!

Join She Leads at the two-day entrepreneurship makeathon hosted by Snapchat on Saturday, March 9th and Sunday, March 10th from 9am-5pm!! It will be an awesome opportunity for female students to learn from and meet some incredible founders at Snap and pitch their ideas to win some incredible prizes. The deadline to apply for a scholarship to participate is TOMORROW, February 20 th.
2019 Frederick M. Roberts College Scholarship Program
The California Legislative Black Caucus (CLBC) Scholarship Program was established to assist deserving students by offering financial assistance to help meet educational expenses. This program provides tuition assistance to enable students to fulfill their higher education goals. Scholarship candidates must be full-time students in good academic standing at an accredited college or university. Graduating high school seniors with written proof of acceptance at an accredited institution of higher learning are also eligible.
To be eligible for selection, candidates must:

Save the date, Da Vinci Design High School Diversity Council is hosting a multicultural food fair! We are looking for parents to sign up to provide a dish and help serve food.

There will be an informational workshop on adolescent depression and anxiety for Da Vinci Schools parents. Attendees will learn strategies to identify depression and anxiety in their child, as well as coping skills to address these challenges.
A doctoral student from Pepperdine University will be at the meeting to provide you with different skills and strategies to help you ease your child’s discomfort. The presentation will be free and all Da Vinci parents are welcome to attend!

The Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program (SIP) is a FREE, 7-week summer program for current 10th and 11th grade girls to learn computer science, get exposure to tech jobs and join a supportive sisterhood of thousands of girls across the U.S. We also provide a need-based summer stipend to cover transportation and living costs for students who qualify.
ACT Prep Class through Ivy Prep will be offered for just $99 this semester! The course begins on Saturday 2/16 with a practice exam, and runs through 4/11 to prepare students for the April 13. ACT Test date.
