Hello DVD!

We want to extend a HUGE thank you to all of the families who donated food and drinks for our staff during Teacher Appreciation Week!  A special shout out goes to Denise Colwell who organized the Teacher Appreciation Lunch yesterday.

The work our staff does extends far beyond what is expected of them and you made them feel extra special and appreciated this week.  Thank you. We are so grateful!

Please join us for our upcoming Parent Workshop

SPECIAL EDUCATION, SECTION 504 & MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORTS

When: May 11, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm

Where: Cabrillo Elementary Auditorium

Please join us for an informational parent meeting to learn more about the Section 504 and Special Education Process.  We will also discuss possible mental health supports available for students.  We hope to see you there!

DVD students and families, below you will find the 2016 Summer School information and registration form.  There will be 2 sessions offered (each session is one semester’s worth of credit); June 13-30 and July 5-22. If you need to recover course credit through summer school, please complete the form below and return to the front office.

A few notes:

• You may have already heard from your counselor about this if you are missing credits from previous semesters.
• If you have not yet heard from a counselor, but you know you are missing credits, we recommend that you turn in a form to reserve a spot in summer school and/or contact your counselor.
• If you currently have an “I” or incomplete in a class this semester, we recommend that you turn in a form to reserve a spot in summer school should you need it (if you pass the class by June, you will be removed from the roster).
• Please carefully review the form and the attendance policies, as they are very strict during summer school due to the short length of the courses.
