On Wednesday, March 17, we will be holding our monthly Coffee with Veronica and Russell. This month, the focus will be on our plans for a phased-in return to campus between April 12-June 9. We will be sharing the programs and activities that will be available to students and there will also be time for a Q&A at the end of the presentation. This meeting will be held as a webinar which will allow participants more flexibility to view the presentation. We have moved our meeting time to 7 pm to give an opportunity for more of our families to attend. Here is the link. The presentation will be recorded and made available for those who are not able to attend the live presentation.

Este mes, el enfoque sera en nuestros planes para un regreso gradual a la escuela entre el 12 de abril y el 9 de junio. Compartiremos los programas y actividades que estarán disponibles para los estudiantes y también habrá tiempo para una Q&A al final de la presentación. Join us for a Lunch and Learn session with various SpaceX employees who will talk about specifics of their careers within the company.
All students are welcome to join and will be encouraged to come with questions to ask. We plan on making this an interactive session to make connections.

Dear Parents,
DVD counselors will be hosting a 9th and 10th grade family info session on Friday, March 12th from 11:30am – 12:30pm and again from 3:00pm – 4:00pm for our Spanish speaking parents. This info session will allow us to share important information on maintaining good grades, high school to career pathways, what colleges are looking for, college options and planning for the college application process. It’s never too early to begin preparing.

Los consejeros de DVD estarán presentando una sesión de información familiar de los grados 9 y 10 el viernes 12 de Marzo de 11:30 am a 12:30 pm en ingles y nuevamente de 3:00 pm a 4:00 pm para nuestros hispanohablantes. Esta sesión de información nos permitirá compartir información importante sobre cómo mantener buenas calificaciones, desde la escuela secundaria hasta las trayectorias profesionales, lo que las universidades están buscando, las opciones universitarias y la planificación del proceso de solicitud de la universidad. Nunca es demasiado pronto para comenzar a prepararse.

Practice exams will be scored by The Princeton Review. They will not be official scores and will not impact college applications. Although, many colleges/universities have opted to be Test Optional, that may change. These exams are purely for practice and exposure.
All students are invited to participate.
Dear DVD Parents and Families,
Please see the attached letter entitled “Sexuality Education Parent Notification“. Under the guidance of school nurse Dr. Emily Green, and in compliance with the California Healthy Youth Act, all Da Vinci Schools will be engaging in this important curriculum during Advisory and other faculty led sessions March 22nd-April 2nd.

We will be hosting our Spring Student Led Conferences (SLCs) this upcoming week (March 8-11). Here is the schedule for the week. Please note that this is a special schedule and Advisory will begin at 10:30 am on Monday.
On Monday, March 15th, students may stop by the 201 campus to pick up their Honor Roll certificates between 10:30 am and 12 pm.
