UCLA Film and Television Summer Institutes

Hi Students and Parents,

The UCLA Film and Television Summer Institute is a wonderful opportunity for students to experience UCLA campus, earn college credit, and network with emerging artists from all over the world. Below is the flyer for our Pre-College tracks – Digital Filmmaking and Cinematography – and our College/Professional tracks that are open to high school students – Traditional Animation and Stop-Motion Animation. Here, students gain hands-on experience, whether they are filming on UCLA sound stages with state-of-the-art equipment or capturing their vision frame-by-frame in the animation workshop. All courses are taught by UCLA Film and Television faculty who are active and accomplished in their field.

This is a unique opportunity for high school students to experience UCLA campus life, residence halls, and academic course offerings. In addition, many of the courses are eligible to count towards the film major/minor at UCLA, and they may be transferable to another institution.
