Da Vinci Design

Back to School Night is on Thursday 9/7.  Doors open at 5:50 pm and the first “class” (Advisory) will start at 6:10 pm.  Please find out from your student who their advisory teacher is and what room number they are in! This is where you report first. Here you will receive your student’s schedule, and will follow it throughout the evening.

Parking will be available in our lots and in Del Aire park.  The Big 5 Corporate building (behind Denny’s) also has parking that they have allowed us to use in the past for evening events.  If you do need to park in the neighborhood, please be mindful that this is a residential area. Please respect all parking signs, speed limits, etc. and work alongside our neighbors!

 

Attention DVC/DVD Band and Orchestra Musicians

We will be holding our first meeting for the year this Friday, September 8th at 9:00am in the DV Music Room next to the Fab Lab on the Isis campus. The meeting will last approximately 15 mins, and will include sign-ups and calendar info. You won’t need instruments until rehearsals commence next week. Wiseburn – Da Vinci Athletics Information

All Da Vinci Families with a student interested in playing sports at Wiseburn – Da Vinci in 2017-18 are encouraged to attend an informational meeting on Tuesday Sept 12^th in the Multi-Purpose Room at Dana Middle School.  The meeting will begin promptly at 6pm, and should last about an hour.  Families will learn:

• CIF Eligibility and how Da Vinci interprets the eligibility requirements,
• the tryout process,
• the Athletic Clearance process, including physicals and transportation to games,
• uniforms and equipment,
• the team store, and more.

The meeting is not mandatory, yet it will answer many of the questions we have received over the summer, and have you prepared for what to expect as your children begin their high school sports journey.
