Junior Family Meetings with the Counselors: Sign-Up Information and More

Dear Da Vinci Design Junior Families,

Beginning April 11th, counselors will be holding small group family meetings with junior families and students from their caseloads. It is expected that all junior families sign-up for a time and attend these meetings. If you were present at the Student Led Conference for your child last week, you should have received an informational letter then as well.

In these meetings, counselors will discuss:

  • Building your college list
  • College entrance exams
  • Naviance
  • Different College systems
  • Important dates
  • Important college admission requirements
  • And much more! Individual questions will also be answered during this time.

Families: Please sign-up to meet with your counselor via the provided link:

Annual Giving Campaign–Double Your Donation Now Through 3/31

Annual Giving Campaign–Double Your Donation Now Through 3/31

Time is running out to double your donation! Thanks to a generous matching challenge by Chevron, Belkin, Northrop and Kinecta, every donation and pledge made to the Annual Giving Campaign by March 31 will be DOUBLED, up to $50,000.

We are so grateful to those families who have already donated, yet our Da Vinci Design giving participation stands at only 12% to date. We are seeking 100% family participation. Your contribution provides immediate support to Da Vinci’s top priorities. This year we have a $500 per student gap between what the state provides and what it really costs to deliver an outstanding Da Vinci education.

Every gift matters! Make a tax-deductible gift or pledge today by using this link.

We thank you!

Reminder: Parking Restrictions on Isis Ave

Hello Da Vinci Families: We wanted to remind you of the parking restrictions on Isis Avenue to avoid anyone getting ticketed.  We’ve noticed that many parents are parking on Isis Ave for SLCs.  This is perfectly alright, but what you may not notice are all of the parking signs on the West side. They state that from 7:30 – 9:30 am & 3:00 – 5:30 pm, that part of Isis is for pick/drop off only and most importantly, today (Wednesday) between 1:00pm – 3:00pm is Street Sweeping, so parent will get a ticket if parked in front of the school on Isis Ave.  Also, the East side of Isis is a loading zone all day until 5:30, so you can also be ticketed there.   Just a heads up to avoid any inconvenience or ticketing!
