One last chance-Deadline extended to 12/7/15-Telluride Association Sophomore Seminar (TASS)

Please call or email Ms. KGB or Erin Knott today, Monday, December 7, 2015 if you would like to discuss having your student nominated so that the TASS program can send your student an application in the mail!

TASS is a free 6-week program for high school sophomores. Led by two professors, 12 to 18 students will live together in a residence hall at the host university. For the year of 2016, the seminars will be covering the following topics: Are you an American Citizen? A History of a Complicated Question (Cornell I); Exploring Cultural Identity through the Music of the Harlem Renaissance, Soul and Social Protest Movements, and Contemporary Hip Hop (Cornell II), The Black Struggle for Freedom: An Interdisciplinary Perspective (Indiana), and In Search of Identity: Performance of Blackness and Representations of Gender and Sexuality (Michigan). There will be no charge for tuition, books, or room and board.

Counselors and teachers must nominate sophomores that they feel will benefit from the TASS summer program by November 16th and no later than December 1. Nomination deadline extended to December 7th!
