Dear DVD parents,
This is an especially relevant article for current seniors, but is also a worthwhile read for all grade levels to read concerning college admissions decisions. This weekend, UC Davis, UC San Diego and UC Santa Cruz will be releasing their admissions decisions with other UCs as well as California state and out of state colleges in the upcoming weeks. It’s especially important for our all of us to remember what this college process is all about and to support our students in any way that we can so that they know that their entire self worth should not be tied into their acceptance or denial by any one college. This recent NY Times article highlights some important things to consider and can act as a great guide to discuss what is important about college with your students.
