We just received word that our matching challenge has been extended to March 31. There’s never been a better time to support Da Vinci Schools.
Every dollar you give or pledge will be DOUBLED thanks to a generous matching challenge by Chevron, Belkin, Northrop, DIRECTV, and Gensler, up to $50,000!!
All pledge payments must be received by June 1, 2015 to be eligible for the match.
Be sure to give or pledge before midnight on March 31 and your gift will be matched $1-for-$1.
Dollars raised through Annual Giving benefit every K-12 student and provide critical operating funds for hands-on curriculum, innovative educational technology, field trips, college visits, sports and arts, enrichment programs, college classes and industry-based seminars, parent workshops and staff professional development, and the day-to-day operating expenses that are not funded by the state of California. All Annual Giving contributions are 100% tax-deductible.
We ask families and friends to consider a gift of $365 per family (only $1 per day) + $100 per additional child/ren.Whether you can give $20 or $2,000, we are truly grateful for your support. Thank you very much to the families who have already made a contribution to the Annual Giving Campaign this year!
Any amount you can give is sincerely appreciated. The percentage of families who participate, regardless of your contribution, is very important for when we seek funding from foundations and other outside sources.
Thank you for the trust you place in all of us at Da Vinci Schools to give your children the excellent education they deserve. It is truly our joy to watch them learn and grow!

On Tuesday, February 24th, we will hold our last FAFSA workshop night for seniors. The workshop will be held from 5:30-7:00pm in Ms. Martinez’s classroom/computer lab. This hands on workshop led by Financial aid officer Mr. Luis Mancia will be available to both English and Spanish speaking parents. He will assist parents in the completion of their FAFSA—the form that all college students need to complete in order to receive financial aid and assistance from two year and four year colleges. By attending this workshop, Mr. Mancia will work with you step by and step and you will be able to leave with a completed FAFSA form.
Please bring your 1040, 1040A and W2 forms as well as bank statements to the workshop. Even if you have not yet completed or filed your 2014 taxes, you can still complete the form by bringing your 2013 tax forms and by filing an estimated form for 2014.
It is very important that you complete the FAFSA by March 2, 2015 in order for your student to receive all of the financial aid available to them.
Please mark your calendars for a State of the Schools Address with Da Vinci CEO Dr. Matthew Wunder on Tuesday, March 24th at 6 pm in the Da Vinci Science Forum. This is an all-schools event for any interested parents/guardians. We hope to see you there!
If you are available on the night of 3/5 to help chaperone the Casino Royale Semi-Formal Dance, please contact parent Cynthia Jussen to sign-up for a shift. You can send her an email to cynthiajussen@gmail.com. Thank you!
Designers: Thank you as always for helping to make our campus and surrounding roads a safer place for students! Just a few reminders about drop-off and pick-up times:
Please drop students off in the designated areas and do not allow students to get out on the driver’s side.
Please have students use the crosswalks at all times.
Do not stop in the cone drop-off lane so traffic can keep flowing.
Students on bikes and skateboards – be aware of your surroundings and traffic!
Please be respectful to our traffic and safety employees and volunteers – they are working hard to make sure everyone gets to and from school safe and sound!
