Week 5 Update – Back to School Night Week!
Hello Designers! It’s hard to believe we’ve already been through 4 weeks of school – how time flies. This week has a few Welcome Back Events you won’t want to miss! Check out this week’s update below. (please forgive the altered format – next week we should be back to the old one!)

Tuesday 9/9 – Back to School Night
Thursday 9/11 – Welcome Back Kickback
Friday 9/12 – No Classes in Session; Staff Development Day
TUESDAY 9/9 – BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT
Back to School Night begins at 6:00 pm. Doors will open at 5:50 and the evening will run until 7:50 pm. Campus will be closing at 8:00 pm. You will be starting the night and receiving your student’s schedule in Advisory so please check in with your student to see who that teacher is!
Please try to use the Da Vinci parking lots (both front and back) as well as the Del Aire Park parking lot if possible before using the residential streets.
THURSDAY 9/11 – WELCOME BACK KICKBACK!
Da Vinci Design’s Senior Committee is sponsoring a “Welcome Back Kickback” event to start the year. There will be music, dancing, snacks, games and more! This will take place from 7:00-9:00 pm on the DVD/DVC campus. Students of all grade levels welcome! (no guests – Da Vinci Design and Communications students ONLY at this event).
Tickets will be on sale this week during lunch in the center courtyard (near vending machines). Prices are as follows:
- Pre-sale Tickets: $5 (deal includes entry, a slice of pizza and a drink)
- At the gate ticket purchase: $3 (pizza and drink not included)
- Pizza ($2) and drinks ($1) can be purchased separately at the event
